Hey there, I’m Kiersten! But most people call me Kiers, because apparently two syllables are one too many. I’m a Graphic Designer by trade and an Illustrator at heart. I grew up on those good old Saturday morning cartoons, the kind where an anvil injury was just another Tuesday and a mouse could outsmart a full-grown cat on a daily basis. I tend to credit my dad, the greatest storyteller there ever was, for my wild imagination, but both my parents are responsible for letting it get this far. And thank goodness for that!

Originally I had set out to become a cartoonist, but somewhere along the way the world decided it preferred logos to talking cats. So, I pivoted to graphic design, bringing ideas to life with fewer anvils and a bit more strategy. Or so I’d like to think. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Liberty University, I quickly learned the art of blending both mediums: thoughtful design shaped by a love for storytelling, classic cartoons, and the characters that started it all. And that’s the story behind Kiers Design & Illustration!
